Blue Jeans and Daisies - Part Three (Chart Only) - Mystery Sampler Club

This is part three in the Blue Ribbon Designs Springtime Mystery Sampler Series presented in conjunction with Norden Crafts.

This was a three-part Mystery Sampler Club series - the first installment
was released on January 21, 2013 - the second part on February 25, 2013 - and the third part on March 25, 2013....together all three parts make one large sampler...a photo of the entire project was released with the third and final installment (hence the "mystery").

Stitch counts:

Entire Sampler - 150 H x 300 W
Part Three - 150 H x 99 W
Model Needlebook - 74 H x 108 W

Models are stitched on 30-count Blue Jeans hand-dyed fabric from Weeks Dye Works.

Models are stitched with Weeks Dye Works cotton floss (DMC equivalents provided) - floss estimation is for stitching the entire 3-part sampler with two strands of floss over two linen threads using model specifics (30-count linen).

Weeks Dye Works Cotton Floss - 5 yard skeins (DMC equivalent):
Bright Leaf (3829) - 1 skein
Curry (3820) - 1 skein
Emma's Pink (605) - 2 skeins
Garnet (815) - 2 skeins
Holly (890) - 2 skeins
Hunter (986) - 3 skeins
Lilac (210) - 1 skein
Michael's Navy (336) - 2 skeins
Morris Blue (162) - 2 skeins
Molasses (3031) - 2 skeins
Peoria Purple (3746) - 1 skein
Rust (801) - 2 skeins
Whitewash (White) - 2 skeins

DMC equivalents are only approximate, as there are no exact equivalents for hand over-dyed floss. For best results, I suggest using the Weeks Dye Works cotton floss.

If using 35-count linen and stitching with one strand over-two linen threads, I estimate you will need one skein of each color with one exception - you may need two skeins of Hunter.

NOTE: If you choose to use floss from your mystery sampler to stitch the fun finishing idea (needlebook), you may need additional floss to complete the sampler project.

Package contains charting for part three of the mystery sampler, stitching instructions, stitch diagrams, a fun finishing idea (needlebook), and part three of the Springtime Jumble.

Chart explains to use fabric and floss from your stash for the fun finishing idea - if you purchased a kit from a needlework shop including linen and threads, it does not include amounts for the fun finishing idea.

I encourage you to use floss and fabric color/count that match your personality and style.

Stitches (diagrams for all stitches are provided):

Cross Stitch over-two linen threads
Back Stitch
Smyrna Cross Stitch
Four-Sided Stitch

About the Springtime Jumble: The answer to the Springtime Jumble will be the password to open a Mystery Bonus design - this Mystery Bonus was revealed on my website when the third and final mystery sampler installment was released. You will need to collect all three patterns to complete the Springtime Jumble and unlock the Mystery Bonus. Details can be found inside each package.

Click here for the Mystery Bonus Design - have the password handy. The password is case sensitive - you will need to use all capital letters and the number provided. The password will make sense if you have answered the Spring Jumble correctly. Please do not ruin the Mystery Sampler Club fun by revealing the password!

Contact your needlework shop of choice for additional details - they can assist you with the patterns, threads, and fabric!
